Description of Role

Rhingle is seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to oversee both client software projects and internal software products. As the bridge between clients and our development team, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering quality results.

  1. Project Planning and Execution:
    • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of client software projects and internal software products.
    • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
  2. Client Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Conduct regular status meetings, provide project updates, and address client concerns proactively.
  3. Team Coordination:
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA engineers, to ensure project milestones are met.
    • Facilitate collaboration and communication between team members to drive project success.
  4. Resource Allocation:
    • Allocate resources effectively to optimize project delivery timelines and meet client requirements.
    • Identify and address resource constraints or bottlenecks that may impact project progress.
  5. Risk Management:
    • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts on project timelines and deliverables.
    • Proactively address issues and obstacles to keep projects on track.
  6. Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards and align with client expectations.
    • Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance checks to validate the functionality and performance of software products.
  7. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
    • Provide regular progress reports to stakeholders and leadership, highlighting key milestones, risks, and achievements.
  8. Continuous Improvement:
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance productivity, and improve project outcomes.
    • Solicit feedback from clients and team members to drive iterative improvements in project management practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. (Or if you simply have what it takes?)
  • Proven experience (3 years or more) in technical project management, preferably in a software development environment.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and project management principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize competing demands.
  • Experience working with clients in a consulting or agency environment is a plus.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Teamwork or others.
