Description of Role

  • Lead and oversee the strategic planning, execution, and evaluation of events, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, brand standards, and budgetary guidelines.
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal departments, to deliver exceptional event experiences and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, innovations, and best practices in event management to drive continuous improvement and innovation in event strategies and execution.
  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of activation and events professionals, setting clear objectives, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Manage end-to-end event logistics, including budgeting, contract negotiations, venue selection, guest management, transportation, catering, audiovisual requirements, decor, and marketing collateral.
  • Conduct post-event analysis and reporting, gathering feedback, analyzing metrics, and identifying opportunities for enhancement and optimization.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in corporate event management and leadership roles, with a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality events on time and within budget.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and attention to detail.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with event management software.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate event industry trends, technologies, compliance, and best practices.
  • Leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams, drive results, and uphold high standards of professionalism and integrity.
